My name is Liz Adams, I am a bookbinder and artist located in Roanoke, VA.

As a long time journaler, I have struggled to find high end journals to use to capture my most private thoughts. Not content to write in mass produced journals, I create uniquely designed one-of-a-kind luxury journals made with the finest leathers, jewels, handmade papers. These blank journals are designed and produced by me in my studio santuary.

I converted our 1926 garage into my art studio and it is here that I research, design and create each handmade journal. Experienced in the historical In-boards 3 Part Bradel Binding, I combine the engineering structure of fine bookbinding with my own art to create never before seen pieces of usable art.

Making one of my original journals can take over 40 hours spanning several weeks, to create. Art cannot be rushed! This is where fine art meets fine binding. Welcome to my studio.
